Egg Rice || easy food recipes


 

 Egg Rice




Ingredients:

  • 100g of jasmine rice
  • 1 large egg
  • 50g of spinach
  • 20g of shiitake mushrooms
  • 30g of green onions
  • 15g of soy sauce
  • 10g of sesame oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Rice cooker
  • Frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Saucepan
  • Knife
  • Chopping board

Instructions:

  • Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice in a rice cooker with the appropriate amount of water, according to the rice cooker's instructions. Once cooked, let it rest.
  • While the rice is cooking, heat a frying pan over medium heat and add sesame oil. Add the chopped shiitake mushrooms and sauté until golden brown.
  • In the same pan, add chopped spinach and sliced green onions, and stir-fry until the spinach is wilted. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan.
  • Crack the egg into the pan and season with salt and pepper. Scramble the egg gently while mixing in with the mushrooms and spinach until fully cooked.
  • In a saucepan, combine the cooked rice with soy sauce, mixing thoroughly to ensure even flavor distribution.
  • Serve the rice in a bowl, topped with the sautéed vegetables and scrambled egg, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
