Ingredients:
- 100g of jasmine rice
- 1 large egg
- 50g of spinach
- 20g of shiitake mushrooms
- 30g of green onions
- 15g of soy sauce
- 10g of sesame oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Rice cooker
- Frying pan
- Spatula
- Saucepan
- Knife
- Chopping board
Instructions:
- Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice in a rice cooker with the appropriate amount of water, according to the rice cooker's instructions. Once cooked, let it rest.
- While the rice is cooking, heat a frying pan over medium heat and add sesame oil. Add the chopped shiitake mushrooms and sauté until golden brown.
- In the same pan, add chopped spinach and sliced green onions, and stir-fry until the spinach is wilted. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan.
- Crack the egg into the pan and season with salt and pepper. Scramble the egg gently while mixing in with the mushrooms and spinach until fully cooked.
- In a saucepan, combine the cooked rice with soy sauce, mixing thoroughly to ensure even flavor distribution.
- Serve the rice in a bowl, topped with the sautéed vegetables and scrambled egg, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
