Korean Ramen Noodles
Ingredients:
- 100g of fresh ramen noodles
- 200ml of chicken broth
- 50g of sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 small carrot, julienned
- 50g of spinach
- 1 soft-boiled egg
- 1 tablespoon of gochujang
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Pot
- Strainer
- Skillet
- Chopsticks
- Spoon
Instructions:
- In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer.
- Add the fresh ramen noodles to the boiling broth and cook according to package instructions, typically around 4-5 minutes.
- While the noodles are cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add sesame oil.
- Add shiitake mushrooms and carrots to the skillet, sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
- Stir in the spinach until wilted, then mix in the gochujang and soy sauce.
- Once the noodles are cooked, strain them and add them directly to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables.
- Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve the ramen in a bowl, top with the soft-boiled egg, chopped green onion, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
